December meeting was a kind of preparation for our January programming. We separated into groups and each group practiced different educational activities to communicate the facts of HIV to various groups.
At the culmination of the meeting, I decided to interview Charity, one of the new student assistants. I asked her the following questions and have recorded her responses below.
What does she do outside PAN?
She helps her mother in trading at the local marketplace after school and on Saturdays. She is a dancer and also a member of their church choir.
Why did she join PAN?
She said she joined PAN because she wanted to know the facts about HIV/AIDS and she wanted to be among the fact spreaders.
What are some things she would like to do in the future?
Sometime in the future, she wants to become a medical doctor and she is working hard towards it. She also prays that God should help her to make her dream come to reality.
A closing prayer was offered to end the meeting.
